If you’re considering hiring the team at the Law Offices of Drew F. Davis, P.C. in Cameron, MO, this is the place to learn more about us. Read more about our education and experience below.
After graduating from Cameron High School in 1989, Drew attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in Kirksville, Missouri. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science. Drew then attended Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, receiving his Law Degree from Washington University in 1996.
While in law school, Drew was an Associate Editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly and was selected for membership in the Order of the Coif, a national honor society for graduating law students who, in addition to meeting other requirements, graduate in the top 10% of their class.
Drew worked as a Summer Associate for two large Kansas City-based law firms: Stinson, Mag & Fizzell (now known as Stinson) and Shughart, Thompson & Kilroy (now known as Polsinelli). After graduation in 1996, Drew began his legal career as an associate attorney with Stinson, Mag & Fizzell.
Drew worked in the litigation section of Stinson, Mag & Fizzell alongside some of the best attorneys in the nation. He handled complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, giving him invaluable experience. But Drew was always a small-town lawyer at heart. Indeed, he never left Cameron, enduring the long commute to downtown Kansas City each day. Finally, on January 2, 2000, Drew opened the Davis Law Office in Cameron. He still keeps in touch with colleagues from Stinson, and this association allows Drew to refer clients to Stinson attorneys across the nation when the need arises.
Drew has two daughters, both of whom attend the University of Missouri. Although the Truman bulldogs will always be first in his heart, Drew now enjoys “dual citizenship” as a Truman bulldog and a Mizzou tiger. In his spare time, Drew enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and generally being outdoors.
Heather Kent has been a paralegal and office manager for the firm since 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in legal studies from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph in 2000.
